This design enables horizontal load movement with virtually no effort from the operator: the weight of the load is compensated, and only the inertia of the object needs to be overcome at the start of movement.

The SHBM-250-M can be fitted with interchangeable load-handling devices specified in the technical requirements. Control System
The model is equipped with an electromechanical control system. Vertical movement is performed by a gear motor with an electromagnetic brake and a variable frequency drive (VFD), providing smooth speed control and reliable load positioning.
Direction and speed are controlled with one hand using a handle mounted on the gripper head. When the handle is tilted upward or downward, the load starts moving in the corresponding direction, while the movement speed depends on the tilt angle. When released, the handle automatically returns to the neutral position, and the load is fixed at the current height.
The control system is intuitive and suitable for one-hand operation. Operator training usually takes no more than a few hours.
Manipulator Structure
The SHBM-250-M includes the following main components:
- Drive head — mounted on a rotary support structure and provides full 360° boom rotation around the vertical axis. All rotating units are mounted on rolling bearings, ensuring smooth and stable movement even under full load.
- Articulated boom — consists of a main and secondary arm balanced by a spring system. Radial load movement takes place horizontally with virtually no effort from the operator.
- Gripper head — located at the end of the boom, capable of rotating around the vertical axis, and equipped with a rigid mounting interface for interchangeable load-handling devices. The control handle on the head allows the operator to control vertical movement and guide horizontal movement.
- Lifting drive — based on a rack-and-pinion lifting mechanism, gear motor, electromagnetic brake, and variable frequency drive. This system provides precise and smooth lifting and lowering.
- Protection system — includes limit switches that monitor end-of-travel positions, self-diagnostics, overload protection, and an emergency stop button located in the control area.

Operating Conditions

An extension of the warranty period is possible subject to the conclusion of a post-warranty service agreement with RMK.
During the warranty period, RMK guarantees the elimination of obvious or hidden design and manufacturing defects related to the design, materials and components used, or workmanship, and ensures the operation of the equipment in accordance with the technical parameters and technological process stipulated in the Data Sheet and/or Operation Manual.
